After 50 years of practicing Orthodontics and helping to improve the smiles, oral hygiene and self-confidence for thousands of Cape residents, an icon in the field of Orthodontics, Dr. Robert Rozene, is retiring.
The 80 year-old founder of Cape Cod Orthodontics, who was honored last year for his half century of dedicated patient care and compassion by the American Association of Orthodontics, has transitioned his practice to two of his former students at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Robert Chavez and his son, Dr. Andrew Chase, who operate seven ARCH Orthodontics offices south of Boston. Combined, Dr. Chavez and Chase have a total of 50 years of experience with patients from 8 to 80.
“We know Dr. Rozene as a mentor, colleague and friend,” said Dr. Chavez. “He is one of Cape Cod’s foremost Orthodontists and a giant in the field. Therefore, we were extremely moved and honored when he asked us to assume his practice. For five decades, thousands of patients entrusted their families’ smiles to him, and we think the Cape is more beautiful because of his work. We agree with Dr. Rozene that our patients are our primary focus, and we strive to develop long-lasting, trusting relationships with each patient. We pledge to make the transition as seamless as possible.”
In his role as Orthodontist Emeritus, Dr. Rozene will remain as a consultant to Cape Cod Orthodontics.
